Summary About the Position: Responsible for the management of the Civil Works Programs and Project Controls section consisting of schedulers and program analysts. Responsible for schedule oversight and budget preparation, defense, and execution monitoring of the District\'s Civil Works mission. The work includes performing and directing the activities of professionals to perform execution oversight of the delivery of projects within multiple business areas. Responsibilities Provide centralized project management support services to assess adequate controls on focus areas such as planning, scheduling, project accounting, and change management. Evaluate District projects to ensure they are conducted within the capacity of the organization. Develop regular and specialized project reports and maintain complex data analytics for management, resource providers and/or project delivery teams. Identify systemic budgeting and scheduling problems to recommend policy or procedural revisions that will improve schedule and budget accomplishment. Direct the development, preparation, and submission of Civil Works programs and program data for budgetary proposals and changes. Perform supervisory responsibilities and direct the Programs and Project Controls Section.
