Description We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team in the education industry, located in Baltimore, Maryland. The role will revolve around providing administrative support and managing executive meetings, tracking meetings as per our Administrative Calendar, and offering assistance in writing presentations and proposals. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide administrative support, including composing letters and correspondence, and scheduling appointments. Manage executive meetings, including planning, scheduling, and taking meeting minutes. Use Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to maintain accurate records and perform tasks. Track all meetings as dictated by the Administrative Calendar. Aid in writing presentations and proposals, utilizing exceptional writing and communication skills. Monitor and assist with federal contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Maintain all documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible. Proo all written materials to ensure they meet the highest standards. Assist with the organization of quarterly planning meetings and the annual self-assessment. Handle the agency's training and technical assistance plan, ensuring it is executed and updated as necessary. Requirements Possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Demonstrated experience in Google Docs and Zoom Ability to manage executive meetings and take detailed meeting minutes Experience with federal contracts in an educational setting Exceptional writing and communication skills Proficiency in prooing and composing professional correspondence and letters Demonstrated ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working in an educational setting would be an asset Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with staff at all levels.
