Description We are in search of a Legal Assistant to join our team in BALTIMORE, Maryland. This role involves supporting our attorneys, particularly in the creditors’ rights department. The Legal Assistant will be expected to work on multiple projects independently, as well as part of a team, in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in the creditors’ rights department, providing comprehensive support Engage in Civil Litigation tasks as necessary to support the legal department Handle e-Filing procedures, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner Utilize Microsoft Office to manage and organize information efficiently Maintain an organized system of customer credit records and applications Resolve customer inquiries professionally and efficiently Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Support the team in maintaining a supportive and congenial atmosphere Manage multiple projects independently, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in law, particularly litigation and creditors' rights. Requirements A minimum of three years of experience doing litigation Proficiency in Creditor Representation preferred Strong knowledge and experience in Civil Litigation Expertise in e-Filing systems and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of legal terminology and court system Familiarity with legal research tools and procedures.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
