Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Chiropractic Receptionist to join our wellness team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, handling patient records, and supporting the smooth flow of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule/reschedule appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
Verify insurance information and process billing as needed
Collect payments and issue receipts
Ensure the waiting area and front desk are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials
Communicate effectively with chiropractors, massage therapists, and other staff
Manage appointment confirmations, cancellations, and reminders
Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory tracking
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
Previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), and basic office equipment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor under pressure
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Occasionally lift or move office supplies or files (up to 25 lbs)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
