Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Construction Assistant to support our CEO with the day-to-day management of our construction projects. This is an entry-level position with endless opportunities for growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in sending out plans for bids, organizing incoming bids, and creating related spreadsheets and budgets.
-Support the management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met.
-Travel to job sites to check on progress, take photos, and report back to the office.
-Handle various tasks related to due diligence, entitlements, land development plans, permitting, bids and estimating, contract procurement, and more.
-Collaborate with a wide range of industry professionals, including sellers, brokers, engineers, architects, interior designers, vendors, subcontractors, title companies, attorneys, and tenants.
-Assist in creating Gantt charts and other project management tools to track project progress.
Qualifications:
-A strong interest in real estate, particularly in commercial real estate.
-Some understanding of the construction industry and its processes.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Ability to handle multiple projects at once and work under tight deadlines.
-Proficiency in creating spreadsheets, budgets, and other project-related documents.
-Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
-A desire to learn and grow within the company, with no limit to career advancement.
