Requisition ID: 72289 Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities Work with Marketing, Customers, Design team during product definition and development phase Augment design team during product development and release Create Marketing collateral and Datasheets and app notes for new products Support customers directly during bring up of their radio boards Test, tune and troubleshoot customer radio boards to optimize performance of Skyworks parts Test, tune RF Power Amplifiers, LNAs and filters on customer boards Responsible for creating and documenting reference designs using partner SOC and Skyworks FEMs. Support Applications using Skyworks switches and GNSS LNA’s. Strong background in software used in controlling SoC’s and SiP’s. Use Layout and Schematic Tools such as Mentor, Allegro and OrCAD. Run simulations with ADS. Perform lab testing using Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, Signal generators and other RF equipment. Work with quality teams to support failure analysis Occasional travel to provide on-site support for customers to achieve successful design-wins. Job Requirements BSEE with min 10 years' experience in RF components and/or Systems engineering Excellent communication skills and experience with interfacing directly with customers Experience in wireless handset LTE or IoT RF systems with focus on Front End Measure radio boards for transmit and receive performance to FCC, ETSI, 3GPP standards Use radio software to control entire front end for bringing up reference designs Familiar with RF PCB design Must have a strong theoretical background in fundamental RF and systems design Skills and Tools Strong initiative and self-starter attitude Positive attitude and passion to win/contribute Ability to work in and thrive in a team environment or independently #LI-SJ1The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $124,400 - $235,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
