Research activity development will include initiation of projects, acquisition of external funding, project direction, and publications. This position is for a limited one-year period.Required QualificationsMedical doctorate degree. Completion of General Surgery residency training program. American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility. Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan and a Federal DEA registration. Demonstrated ability as an academic surgeon. Evidence of competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected. Evidence of scholarly ability (publications in peer-reviewed journals, etc.) is also expected.Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
