This position is designed for a tenure of 2 years with a salary of $85,000. Responsibilities
Prepare investment reports on performance, asset allocation, and risk characteristics of portfolios
Conduct investment research as directed
Assist the team with manager due diligence, including initial screening of investment managers; participating in meetings with the managers; quantitative performance analysis and qualitative due diligence; and participating in internal discussions that lead to an investment recommendation
Provide support for monitoring managers, performance analysis, staffing, and compliance with guidelines
Liaison with consultants and custodian bank staff, as needed
Support coordinated work between the investment and operations teams
Identify and resolve standard investment accounting, performance measurement, and compliance issues
Initiate fund transfers and monitor fund additions, withdrawals, and distributions, as directed
Some travel may be required
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree; an understanding of and interest in investing; strong quantitative, written, and verbal skills; a proven ability to create and use complex financial models, including spreadsheets; a demonstrated attention to detail and a collaborative work style.
