As a Transcon Agent with Expeditors you will take ownership of a customer portfolio, being responsible for bookings, accurate pick up and scheduling of transportation between customer, service provider and receiver. You will provide timely and accurate documentation, processes through Expeditors systems within the operational process standards. You will communicate delays and work with autonomy to solve challenges to achieve delivery needs of your clients. This is an entry level position that provides opportunity for advancement based on success. Heavy focus on ground/road freight and includes basic warehouse activities/inventory management. Strong training program available to develop skillset with leading global logistics provider.Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace truck transportation shipments and reportingCoordinate truck deliveries across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South DakotaEnsure accurate and timely client billingUnderstand all the elements of the Domestic Delivery Desk Level Operating Procedure and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customer´s instructions and expectations.Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliersMeet both company and US compliance standards at all times Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policyCommunicate with internal/external customers to coordinate the delivery of cargo shipments into the Minneapolis market.
