Accountable and Reports to: Plant Manager; Assistant Plant ManagerPositions that Report to you: NonePrimary Duties and Responsibilities:

Mixes ingredients for line’s product from production list.

Sets and maintains pace of line to ensure production quota is reached.

Maintains quality of product on production line.

Reports production line flow problems with supervisor.

Prepares ingredients for next day’s scheduled product run.

Maintains cleanliness of workstation during production.

Ensure formula sheets are filled out and temperatures are recorded.

Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction in a timely manner.

Cleans and sterilizes equipment at end of each day.

Unloads products and ingredients into refrigeration or freezer units.

Sorts and organizes products in storage areas.

Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:

Must have the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables and limited standardization, and be able to interpret instructions.

Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Possess the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent experience from on-the-job training.Supervisory Responsibilities (Direct Reports): NonePhysical Requirements:

Must have the ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally; exert in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently; exert in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Visual requirement include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without corrective, depth perception, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and field of vision.

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, felling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions:

This position exposed to noise, equipment movement hazards from production lines and pallet jacks, temperature extremes, dangerous chemical/solvents, and electrical shock. This is a fast paced work environment.Equipment Used to Perform Job: Mixers, scales, oven, pallet jack, fork lift, and other production equipment.Financial Responsibility NoneContacts: Has daily contact with employees.
