Accountable and Reports to: Plant Manager; Assistant Plant ManagerPositions that Report to you: None Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
Follows production list provided by supervisor.
Must be willing to work in all areas of production including measuring, scooping, lifting, and pouring various products.
Required to assist in set up and clean up responsibilities.
Practices HAACP and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist management with procedures to ensure quality product while seeking cost cutting ideas.
Needs to be able to work alongside other individuals on line as a team.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
Must have the ability to use logical thinking or solve problems. Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent. Previous manufacturing experience would be helpful. Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force repeatedly; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
Must be able to be on feet (standing and walking) for 6-8 hours a day.
Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
The duties of this position are performed mostly in the production area, which is a dry climate-controlled environment.
Works in environment where you may be exposed to food allergens, such as but not limited to, milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, soy and wheat.
Works around loud equipment.
Frequent deadlines exist while handling multiple tasks.
Daily contact with employees, technicians and salespersons.
Ability to climb, bend, lift and work in areas of limited mobility.
Contacts:
