Description We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the accounts payable process, exceptional organizational, numerical skills and an in-depth ability to multitask.Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring the correctness of invoice coding and approvals.
Analyze and resolve payment discrepancies, escalating complex issues to manager.
Process and validate vendor statements on monthly basis.
Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions.
Act as a key contact between the company and the vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports and summaries of finance data.
Ensure compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
Participate in financial audits.
Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk/specialist.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, specially Excel.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and data entry skills.
