Part Time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer needed for an established firm in Lakeville.
Work will be performed at our office or client locations on an as needed basis. This position may grow to full-time as client base grows. We are looking for someone that can grow with the firm, that as a good attitude and loves what they do. If you know QuickBooks and can hit the ground running please apply.

Minimum requirements:
- At least one year of bookkeeping/accounting work experience. Accounting degree or courses will also be considered as work experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online proficiency
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office equipment (10-key by touch preferred)
- Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking with proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work independently, with shifting priorities as needed
Income Tax preparation experience using ProSeries tax software preferred, but not required. Certified Bookkeeper or A.A. degree in accounting strongly preferred.
Base pay: $15.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience/qualifications. Travel to clients location will be reimbursed (at IRS mileage rate). A criminal background check will be performed on candidate. And a non-compete agreement is required.
