Job Overview-

We are seeking an ambitious, organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to help guide our culinary operation. Named Best New Restaurant 2025 by Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl in MSP Magazine, Best New Bar 2024 by Eater Twin Cities, and the 50 Best New Restaurants by Wine Enthusiast, we are seeking a motivated individual who resonates with our concept and can work well in collaboration with ownership in a high impact role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, menu development and costing, showcasing exceptional culinary skills and a commitment to food safety and quality. This role is a daytime position primarily responsible for creating humble dishes using fresh ingredients for a small, seasonal menu. A desire for self-directed work is essential.

Responsibilities

-Collaborate with ownership on evolving menu development

-Inventory management

-Maintaining appropriate production schedule

-Proactive and consistent communication

-Food and workplace safety

-Support team training and communication

-Private events menu planning and support in execution

-Maintaining supportive vendor relationships

Skills

-Strong communication skills

-Strong organizational skills

-Strong culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques and cuisines.

-Proficient in inventory management practices to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

-Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the food service industry.

-Experience in menu planning

-Ability to perform food prep efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

-Passion for food
