Dependable Solutions Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC machinist. This position will be responsible for programming, setup
and operating Haas CNC mill.
Location: Osseo, MN
Hours: Monday thru Friday ( 4x10 hour days with overtime available)
I will work with "Candidate" to set a schedule.
Responsibilities:
Ability to set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain machines and tools.
Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines.
Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments.
Instruments should include but not be limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
Intermediate knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions
. Works from CAD drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to interpret, plan, and layout own work
. Interpret existing CNC programs and edit if necessary, to set up and operate CNC
Ability to hold tight tolerances
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production and timely delivery of products
Maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Three years of experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines.
Proficient math skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of CNC machines and related software
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge
