Job Description:

Minnesota Robotics (MNR) is a small but growing company based in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. The position will expose the candidate to the medical industry with tasks including fabricating components and building complex projects to assist customers with the manufacturing of medical devices. The candidate should be proficient in CAMWorks and should possess a natural passion and talent for creating and providing “out-of-the-box” solutions to problems. The candidate should also be a strong leader that will initially supervise a single Okuma Vertical Setup/Operator. The job responsibilities listed below will be performed under the guidance of the MNR’s project manager.

Job Type:

Full-time (Day Shift)

Onsight (No remote)

Pay:

Pay range: $40/Hours and up (+$4/Hour see Benefits) - Negotiable based on depth of previous experience & education

Benefits:

Additional $4/Hour Paid as Benefits

Required Education:

High school graduate followed with a minimum two-year technical school associate degree or equivalent

o CNC

o Mill

o Surface Grinder

High Mechanical Aptitude

Good ANSI Drawing Interpretation

o Proficient in CAMWorks

o Understand Complex Mechanisms

o Visualization

o Investigation & Issue Resolution

Electrical:

o Basic Understanding

Computer:

o MS Office Suite

Desired Experience:

Working with Mechanical Systems

Working with Electro-Mechanical Systems

Working with Pneumatic Systems

Assembling and Disassembling Equipment

Job Responsibilities:

Specific Tasks (Immediate):

o Supervise Okuma Vertical Setup/Operator

o Add CAM data to SolidWorks CAD files

o Fabricate MNR Designed Components

o Fabricate Customer Designed Components

o Obtain Raw Material Quotes

o Order, Track Progress, & Receive Raw Materials & Tooling

o Assemble Projects as Needed

o Ensure Delivery Dates are Achieved

o Maintain a Clean and Safe Working Environment

Specific Tasks (Growth):

o Implement Wire EDM Machine(s) & Associated Equipment

o Operate Wire EDM Machine(s) & Associated Equipment

General Tasks:

o Assist with Brainstorming Ideas for MNR Product Lines

o Drive process improvements

Work Expectations:

A MNR employee represents Minnesota Robotics and as such is expected to conduct all business practices and interactions with the highest ethical standards

Customer interactions should be concise and professional

Internal & external products & processes will remain confidential

MNR financial information will remain confidential

All personal activities (e.g. emails, internet use, texts, phone calls, errands, etc.) shall kept to a minimum and shall not prevent assigned task from being accomplished

Core hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

40 hours per week minimum for full-time effort

Additional hours at times may be needed

10-hour days Monday thru Thursday

Additional OT hours at times may be needed
