Irrigation Division Manager

Albrecht Company is a second-generation, family-owned landscape construction company. Founded in 1968, we are a leader in the green industry. Our services include landscaping, irrigation, excavation, site work, and more.

We are currently in search of the right person to join our office staff as an Irrigation Division Manager. In general, this position will consist of three major components:

1. Irrigation Installation – You will be responsible for seeking out, bidding, and managing both bid/build and design/build irrigation installation projects. These range from one day residential installations to large municipal athletic fields and golf courses. It will be your responsibility to ensure profitability and professionalism throughout every project.

2. Irrigation Service – You will be responsible for managing our team of irrigation service technicians with the help of our Dispatch and Administration Manager. You will not schedule or communicate with every customer, but you will be responsible for communication with key accounts as well as ensuring that service remains profitable and professional. Additionally, you will be responsible for seeking out new service accounts.

3. Irrigation Training, Recruitment, and Growth – As a growing company, we expect our Division Managers to provide vision, guidance, and execution on a growth strategy for their respective divisions. This includes finding new hires, creating or engaging in training opportunities for new and existing staff, and seeking ways to improve the overall success of the division.

This role is equal parts manager, salesperson, and technical consultant/trainer. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an existing deep understanding of irrigation as well as a willingness to continue learning. In addition to having irrigation knowledge, you must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a high level of motivation to seek success for your team.
