Position Overview:
Ability to review a set of plans with the designer and having the knowledge of when and where the various items need to be placed in the landscape.
Duties include managing a installation project from start to finish. Understanding the different phases of the project, when items will be needed through the different stages and doing this with a high attention to detail.
Communicate with your crew members, client, designers, contractors, and operations manager.
Ability to Operate trucks, equipment, and tools with a high degree of knowledge. Being able to show your crew how to accomplish complex tasks and able to diagnose and fix unforeseen conditions.
Position starts NOW through end of year including long term opportunities.
Skills & Experiences Preferred:
Ability to work in and manage the team. Able to communicate well with team knowing that you will be responsible for the overall workings of your team.
3+ years of experiences working in the profession and understanding of job cycle.
Familiar with all aspects of equipment operation and maintenance
Great work ethic and ability to work outside in various weather conditions
Physical capability to lift 50lbs
Safely operate basic landscape equipment and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Able to obtain/possess a DOT health card within DOT Guidelines.
Knowledge and experience in various hardscape and softscape installation processes.
Proficient heavy equipment operating skills
Certified CNLP, ICPI, PLT, MNLA, ALCA, or ISA is a plus
