Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the electronic manufacturing industry. As an Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, processing electronic payments, and assisting in auditing functions.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) entries. Process weekly ACH wire transactions. Handle bank deposits and check deposits regularly. Ensure accurate entry and management of invoices. Assist in setting up files for the new fiscal year and managing vendor relations. Contribute to the process documentation. Deal with cash receipts and credit card receipts on a daily basis. Provide support in auditing activities and maintaining balance sheet accounts. Play a role in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) for our publicly traded status.Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Accountant. Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions is a must. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. The candidate should have a strong background in Auditing. Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account is essential. Experience with Bank Deposit procedures is necessary. The candidate must be proficient in Check Deposit processes. Ability to handle Credit Card Receipts effectively is needed. The candidate should be experienced in managing Daily Cash Receipts. Familiarity with Daily Receipts processes is a key requirement. Experience in managing Electronic Payments is necessary. The candidate must have experience in Process Documentation.
