Position General Responsibilities:Responsible for processing accounts payable, posting general ledger entries, completing various account reconcilements, reviewing official checks, and other miscellaneous accounting department support duties. General accounting work is performed using various banking financial systems, accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.Employees Supervised:None.Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:Note: Only minimum responsibilities are listed. Other responsibilities may be required as requested by management.Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalency.

Previous personal computer experience.

Strong work ethic and organizational skills are a must. Must be dependable, accurate and efficient.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong computer knowledge and program skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Bank related software.

Previous Accounting/General Ledger experience in an office setting.

  • The Library Services Specialist II provides mid-level administrative support to the department or function manager and other department or function staff. Duties include performing or coordinating activities in support of the department or function. Specific duties vary with the department or function assigned.   • Billings School District 2 is seeking an Accounting Manager to assist in oversight of the accounting operations for Billings Public Schools. The Accounting Manager will help lead the day-to-day finance operations of an operating budget of approximately $200,000,000 and supervise a team of staff members including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable. The Accounting Manager will assist in ensuring that Billings Public Schools has the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. At least 3 years of management experience preferred. - Five years of related experience in school district or other local government accounting capacity with reporting experience preferred. - Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting. - Standards Board required. Knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board strongly preferred.
