  • The City of Billings is seeking a Project Manager / Asset Coordinator to perform professional project management work involved in the construction of parks and recreation capital improvement projects including park and trail planning and construction, irrigation systems, grading and drainage, parking and structures; to act as a project manager on assigned projects. This position performs a full range of duties as assigned, working independently and exercising judgment and initiative. Performs asset coordination including inventory, locate, assess condition for improvement or replacement. Positions at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise, and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit. This position will routinely interact with consultants, contractors, and departmental staff in all phases of project management.
