Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best-in-class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services.We are specifically looking for a hands-on, Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Operability team to drive programs focused on automation, efficiency, and improvements for our operational staff and customers.ResponsibilitiesIn this Principal Technical Program Manager role, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business’s problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects.You will create and define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on automation and efficiency in the operation of our restricted realms; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned programs.You will monitor the program from initiation through delivery, identifying potential gaps and creating mitigation plans. You will define subsequent programs for delivery or backlog prioritization to address, as well as organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.You will collaborate closely with our partners in program and product management, operations, and engineering to understand our customers and build the right solutions and products that makes their needs and businesses complete.You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects.You have strong interpersonal skills including collaborating and team building. You should be comfortable in a mentorship role and providing direction across teams, escalating where appropriate. You should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities.Responsibilities

Develop dashboards that collect and reports key service metrics such as CM execution, escalation, and error rates across the different service components.

Collaborate with engineering teams and TPMs to gather OCI level requirements as well as deadlines and communicate the requirements and deadlines.

Drive compliance initiatives such as security patching and OS upgrades.

Track learning events and corrections and drive the corrections either as a software fix or a process fix through the engineering teams.

Drive weekly meetings

Drive the change review process for software updates

Provide on-going written and verbal status updates to senior leadership.

Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities.

Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

Required Qualification

8+ years experience with Technical Product Management in IaaS and or SaaS

Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and drive process improvements

Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.

Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.

Highly analytical, technically proficient, and ability to learn new tools and software quickly.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience managing cloud development and/or operational projects.

Experience in high tech, S/W environment, familiarity with Operations and Automation.

Experience in Change Management and Operational best practices.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Responsibilities As a PROGRAM MANAGER (STRATEGIC PLANS AND POLICY OFFICER) (TITLE 32), GS-0340-12, you will serve as the Officer over Strategic Plans and Policy. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Serve as the primary advisor to the Adjutant General, and the Chief of the Joint Staff on matters of short, mid, and long-term programs. Serve as the senior strategic and long-range planner and consultant responsible for developing the Joint Force Headquarters-State view of the future and implementing detailed strategic policy, plans, initiatives, and concepts related to warfighting, theater security cooperation, international relations, federal and state homeland security, civil support missions, and selected other activities for the entire organizations based on broad guidance from higher headquarters and specific guidance from the Adjutant General and Chief of the Joint Staff.
