Job Description:Under general supervision supports the ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of department and organization projects, initiatives, and applications. Serves as a resource on content, processes, and procedures associated with specific applications and projects.Job Essentials

Provides business and technical insight for research and findings for small to medium sized projects, initiatives and applications. May apply functional expertise to design, implement and manage projects and systems.

Participates in project team activities for assigned projects; applications including research, planning, analysis, risk assessment, quality assurance, documentation, communication, and deployment.

Evaluates implications for existing department and organization environment. Identifies opportunities for departmental process improvement. Identifies, tracks, and resolves issues.

Provides support as projects and applications move through the process.

Develops, executes, and provides feedback for intermediate queries and reports.

Provides testing support as required.

Serves as a consultant to other departments and ensures customer expectations are being met.

Provides assistance on more complex projects.

Develops an understanding of current project management and application development methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Works with outside vendors as needed.

May provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a business related field. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

Five years of relevant experience in health care, business / project analysis, or project management.

and -

Demonstrated intermediate skills with spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.

and -

Demonstrated ability to design and run intermediate to complex queries and reports.Preferred QualificationsCBAP license.

and -

PMP licenseExperience working in a health care related industry.

and -

Skilled at bringing order to ideas and processes as well as communicating business concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.

and -

Proficient at solving complex problems.

and -

Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

and -

Knowledge of health care products, services and operations, and workflow.

and -

Knowledge of market dynamics, legal contracts, and health insurance regulations.

and -

Understanding of most types of information used in a healthcare environment and how data are produced, consumed, and transformed.Physical Requirements:Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, GEOSPATIAL Intelligence Battalion, Springfield, VA 22150 . Responsibilities Serves as a GEOINT analyst and trainer. Provides subject matter expertise to optimize GEOINT analytics and courseware efforts regarding commercial, theater, and strategic production incorporating current Army architecture, equipment and exploitation software systems. Manages GEOINT training initiatives supporting Army combat operations and strategic requirements at all echelons.
