Sweet Peaks Ice Cream - Bozeman is looking for an energetic, outgoing, growth-oriented, service minded, individual to join our team this summer in a leadership capacity.
About Us:
Sweet Peaks Ice Cream is a family owned Montana based ice cream company. We opened our doors in 2010, in Whitefish, Montana, our home and OG location. Since then we have expanded to five locations across the state of Montana. We aim to use local ingredients, supporting other local and regional operations and to give back to the communities we are a part of.
Position Overview:
As a Team Lead at Sweet Peaks Ice Cream, you'll be a point of support for your local team and a liaison between your team and company wide management. You will ensure smooth operations at the store by being aware of your team’s schedules, store inventory needs, and the quality of customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage expectations for your team to provide a stellar guest experience
Provide guidance and support for the local team
Manage money handling, including till counting, bank deposits, and reconciling reports
Coordinate schedules by collaborating with our scheduling manager
Serve as the point person during your designated shifts, overseeing operations and addressing any issues.
Train new staff members and reinforce Sweet Peaks standards and procedures.
Maintain inventory and ensure the store is in top-notch condition at all times
Facilitate communication between management, team leads, and scoopers
Requirements:
Leadership experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Availability for at least 4X days per week, with flexibility for additional shifts and responsibilities
1+ years in customer service/hospitality
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Proficiency in money management, scheduling, and inventory control
Commitment to Sweet Peaks' brand values and standards
Willingness to undergo training and continuing education as needed
Ability to handle guest inquiries and feedback with grace and professionalism
