2. Paralegal certificate or bachelors degree
3. At least one job with 12 months of continuous employment in the last 5 years
We are a small law firm that does estate planning, probate, PI, and a few other things. We have a really good working environment and are growing fast. We have high standards for our work product, ethics, and client satisfaction. We have a strict no jerks, no drama policy. And that applies to attorneys too. Our current staff really likes working here (or so they say!) We are hiring because we're growing and need more hands on deck.
This person will work closely with me mostly in PI and will be hybrid case manager and paralegal until that practice grows a little more and we can separate the roles. I need someone who is an all-rounder and will take ownership of the cases. If you are organized, plan ahead, and like to see things done right, then I would love to work with you. I'm not perfect at those things, but I want to get better and appreciate people who have good ideas and hold me accountable.
We offer competitive pay, benefits, and some flexibility on schedule. Some remote work is a possibility. Prior law firm experience (at least 1 year) is required. Probate or PI experience is a big plus. We use Clio as our practice management software. Experience with Outlook, Word, Adobe are required. Excel is a plus.
