Our client is a long-standing organization and well established looking to add a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for an experienced professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they and work independently.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30-35 per hour
Position Overview:
Senior Accountant. Applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Looking for 3-5 years’ experience with month-end close, accruals, financial analysis, etc. Ideal candidate should be hard working, and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Prepare financial analyses and reports
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Working with grants, bonds, and long-term loans
Perform input, maintenance, and review of fixed assets
Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast for possibly a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis.
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong excel skills
ERP systems
Leadership, communication, and financial analysis on an accounting team all a big plus
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or related field
