Job Description:

Summary of position:
The Solution Architect is a key member of the ServiceNow implementation project team and is responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping client business requirements from the project team to systems/technical requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 10-12 years of ServiceNow

    ITOM (IT Operations Management) systems integration, Asset Management and relevant implementation experience
  • Customisation and Administration of Service Now Core Modules
  • Service Now Client side and Service Side Scripting
  • Data importing using Import Sets (Data Source/Import Sets/Transform Maps)
  • Familiar and hands on with mechanisms for 3rd party Integrations with Service Now
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administration
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead for a specific ServiceNow technical specialty
  • Take the lead on building methodologies and sharing knowledge across the business
  • Own any technical disputes preventing successful service delivery and proactive management of relevant company resources and communications towards successful resolution
  • Be considered a go-to person for the core ServiceNow products
  • Demonstrate high level technical knowledge of competitive approaches and product
  • Work with the sales team to understand the solution that has been designed and the specific client requirements, to ensure a seamless handover between sales and delivery.
  • Assist the Engagement Manager by application of relevant commercial knowledge of services business issues
  • Ensure technical delivery is in line with the Statement of Work (SoW) scope agreed and highlight any potential changes to SoW scope to the Engagement Manager in a timely manner.
  • Augment the company’s body of knowledge by ownership and validation of best practice collateral generated by self and others in the form of technical papers or presentations to colleagues and contributing to community-based media
  • Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements
  • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities. Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
  • Should have participated in, and be familiar with project methodologies such as Scrum etc.
  • Proven Solutions consulting experience
  • Understanding of and experience selling to enterprise IT architecture
