Description A Jersey City, NJ based financial services firm is seeking a Sr. FP& A Analyst to join their group on a long-term contract supporting the technology business unit. The Sr. FP& A Analyst will report to the Director of FP& A, and will be integral to ensuring deadlines are met for monthly budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, as well as required management reporting and financial reporting. The Sr. FP& A Analyst will be responsible for ensuring monthly accruals are accurate, tracking vendor costs, consolidating financial reports, drafting commentary, and creating monthly PowerPoint decks for reporting and discussion purposes. The ideal Sr. FP& A Analyst will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an FP& A capacity for global financial services firms. Proficiency with advanced functionality in Excel, Power BI, Tableau are a must. Proven expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)
Strong understanding and experience with Accruals
Extensive experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
Skilled in Financial Reporting with a keen eye for detail
Must have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion
Proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis and visualization
Must have experience in the financial services sector
