BACKGROUND

In 1948, the sons of Joseph and Carmela Stavola founded Stavola Contracting Co., the first Stavola Company. Today, Stavola Companies remain a family-owned and operated business, consisting of four major divisions: Asphalt and Recycling Materials, Construction Materials, Contracting (heavy highway construction) and Real Estate, all located in New Jersey. What started as a company offering basement excavation and driveway paving now has 3 quarries in NJ, 2 quarries in PA, 9 asphalt plants, 3 recycling centers, and several gravel mining operations.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

This position will support the Sales Department. Working internally with various departments and direct customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepares sales quotes.

Preview daily dispatch schedule.

Prepare and submit material bids.

Coordinate mass mailing of annual notifications.

Register salesmen for various events.

Review daily bid opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

1+ years data entry experience preferred but not required

Good verbal and written communication skills

General computer knowledge

Detailed oriented

Ability to multi-task

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

EDUCATION

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
