Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to hire a Certified Dental Assistant in Newark, NJ.Type: Temp to permShift: Mon-Fri 9am-5pmThe anticipated wage for this position is between $23/hr. - 26/hr.Certification/licenses: CDA and/or X-ray licenseEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers.
Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment.
Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients.
Operates suction equipment.
Mixes endodontic and restorative materials.
Maintains all dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations.
Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images.
Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization. Restocks endodontic kits with proper instruments and materials.
Assists supervisor in ordering and maintaining clinical supplies.
Understands and adheres to client's compliance standards as they appear in client's corporate compliance policy, code of conduct and conflict of interest policy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
