Our Retail team is at the forefront of this mission, driving the strategy and execution to expand Audible's offering beyond membership, to a new evolving set of on and off platform transactional shopping experiences. We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our efforts in defining how Audible will develop transactional offerings, while improving the pricing, discovery, and shopping journey for Audible's existing cash offerings.In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to revitalize Audible's existing retail business and develop the long term relationship Audible has with our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning efforts across pricing, revenue optimization, discovery, demand generation, shopping experiences, and upsell/resell journeys.ABOUT YOUYou are the type of person who asks why, explores ideas, and isn't afraid to voice your crazy concepts or persistently follow an email chain for weeks until you find someone with an answer. Lead the product roadmap related to our point of purchase experiences to include transactional options for customers in addition to Audible’s existing membership

Develop customer life-cycle engagement strategies to define the relationship Audible should have with our transactional listeners over the long term

Work with third party distribution partners to define how Audible might engage and enable transactions off of our platforms

Share Audible’s overall business strategy and product team roadmaps with tech partners to establish context while seeking their input on where investments align with business strategy to align and execute on a roadmap

Translate the product strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed plans and objectives over different time frames with defined and measured value being realized iteratively

Deliver value by creating reusable, extensible and resilient capabilities related to shopping and transactions

Work with partner product and marketing teams to understand how other workstreams influence the retail journey and vice-versa

Proactively accelerate, unblock, de-risk and help optimize the work of the delivery teams working on your in-flight features

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of experience in product management, with 1+ year in complex organizations

Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication skills - Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions

Ability to think creatively, execute on a roadmap, build consensus and momentum

Data-driven: Define metrics for success and failure; ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to back up assumptions and make decisions

Ability to recognize the benefits and limitations of the technical design of a feature, and engage with engineering to make informed trade-off decisions

Team player: Strong, demonstrated ability to rally and bring varying functional teams together

Experience with product growth, new market expansion and/or leading third-party relationships from a product management perspective

Experience with Startups or building new verticals/product offerings in an established organization

Strong writing skills

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority in large organizations
