Join us as we work towards meeting and exceeding the growing needs of our diverse communities, further our lifesaving strategic goals in a rapidly changing environment, and expand our impact on the local, national, and global communities we serve.Reporting to the Supervisor of Donor Recruitment, the sales/marketing savvy candidate we seek will play a key role and have a direct impact on our daily collection activities and donor recruitment initiatives within New Jersey.Responsibilities include:
Telemarketing to past donors for blood drives
Assisting with mailings and marketing efforts for Apheresis collections
Assisting at college campuses and other blood drives to increase donor turn out
Ensuring all standard operating procedures and policies are followed
Providing assistance with marketing programs, mailings and promotional supplies
Preparing, printing, completing and verifying information on summary reports
Handling administrative tasks and other related functions as needed
To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma/GED (college degree preferred), 2-3 years of sales, marketing and/or customer service experience, and a valid driver’s license. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and persuasion skills will be expected, as will the enthusiasm necessary to help schedule and recruit blood donors. PC proficiency and the ability to work a flexible schedule is also essential.
