This role must be able to work from New Brunswick, NJ and travel up to 30% of the time on a short notice, to domestic and international destinations.The Global Security Sr. Director, Investigations & Intelligence position is responsible for leading and directing critical and sensitive investigations that impact Johnson and Johnson, its associates/contractors, products, and brands. As well as maintaining liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including local/state/and federal law enforcement.Through intelligence, the role is responsible for forecasting, identifying, and assessing risks, as well as overseeing response to threats and incidents impacting J&J associates, facilities, operations, assets, and products. This role provides day to day guidance and expertise to ensure that processes and procedures are developed, and resources acquired with the goal of minimizing the likelihood and impact of risks, threats, and incidents globally. The role is also responsible for developing a global intelligence program with emphasis on building an intelligence/information collection, analysis, and dissemination capability in every region (North America, Asia Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America).The role will lead the Global Security’s Executive Protection program. This role will design and execute the suite of executive protection services for residential security, ground transportation security, in office security, event security, and travel security to protect executives. Executive protection including the CEO, Chairman of the Board, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors.This role is responsible for vendor management including annual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Metrics, collaboration with procurement on contracting, and purchase order management.The Sr. Director, Investigations and Intelligence, Global Security, will oversees the Global Security website, development for the department and supports the departments onboarding and internships.This role manages budgets, vendor relationships, data strategy development, investigations, case management system, metrics and KPI reporting.The Sr. Director, Investigations and Intelligence role will also guide and mentor new associates who join Global Security and establish orientation/training programs where appropriate.This role will also ensure the continuity and growth of the Johnson and Johnson business by providing timely response and suitable security engagement, support, and services in those most serious, complex, and sensitive circumstances.The Sr. Director, Investigations and Intelligence role will oversee the company’s strategy for employee awareness training, non-violence in the workplace, including Crisis Management Training, and appropriate tabletop exercises.Key Responsibilities:

Oversees intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination efforts globally in support of Global Security’s efforts to predict, prepare for and mitigate risks and threats to physical security conditions.

Partners with Information Security & Risk Management in establishing a framework in pursuit of insider risk investigations. Also conducts highly sensitive personnel investigations in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Leads threat assessment investigations and shares conclusions with relevant stakeholders to inform decision making for the management and mitigation of threats.

Manages vendor relationships to ensure departmental intelligence and investigative requirements are met.

Oversees maintenance and upgrades to the case management system to ensure end user requirements are met.

Coaches junior staff and provides developmental opportunities to support continued development and growth.

Establishes and maintains liaison with internal and external stakeholders in furtherance of promoting information sharing.

Executive Protection: which includes design and execution of the suite of executive protection services for residential security, ground transportation security, in office security, event security, and travel security to protect executives. Executive protection including the CEO, Chairman of the Board, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors. Primary point of contact with Executive Assistants on scheduling/travel of CEO/EC members.

Security strategy for Johnson & Johnson's special events and business meetings including creation of policy, design of procedures and guidance for meeting planners, and consultation on risk associated with events.

Vendor management, including annual Key Performance Indicators and Metrics, collaboration with procurement on contracting, and purchase order management.

Partner with critical internal stakeholders to ensure the ongoing cyber compliance, legislative compliance, cyber security, privacy compliance, and regulatory compliance of all Global Security capabilities globally.

Oversee the company’s strategy for non-violence in the workplace including employee education, CMT training, tabletop exercises, and security training.

Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required. An educational focus in Business Administration, Forensic Sciences, or Security/Investigations is preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate security management; or 10 years of experience in law enforcement is required.

Military or Law Enforcement background is preferred with strong emphasis on Intelligence work-related experience.

Demonstrated investigative and physical security experience is required.

The ability to identify emerging risks and prioritize same based on the probability of occurrence is required.

Experience in providing security training is required.

Possess operational/management experience in risk intelligence is required.

A working knowledge of security-related regulations globally is required.

Demonstrated organization skills and sound judgment are required.

Must be results-objectives-goal oriented, a cost-benefit analyst, decision maker, strategic planner, and tactical executive.

Ability to brief at all levels of the company and communicate openly and candidly across Business Units and operating companies is required.

Able to prioritize, plan and execute work programs on own initiative and work with other stakeholders is required.

Preferred:

Security Certification(s), including CPP from ASIS International, is a plus.

Prior private sector experience involving Corporate Investigations is preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $160,000-$276,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
