The Production Manager will play a key role in overseeing the production and preparation of confirmed rental orders, ensuring that all furniture items are packed, quality-checked, and ready for delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production workflows, coordinating upholstery and painting tasks, and overseeing the packing and shipping processes. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure that every order meets our high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the production process for confirmed rental orders, from order receipt to dispatch.
Coordinate and schedule upholstery, painting, and other customization tasks to ensure timely completion.
Lead quality control checks to ensure all furniture meets company standards before packing and delivery.
Manage the packing process, ensuring that furniture is safely and efficiently prepared for transportation.
Supervise the loading of items onto trucks for delivery, ensuring proper organization and securing of goods.
Monitor production timelines and communicate with other teams to address any delays or issues.
Develop and implement efficient workflows for production, packing, and loading to optimize efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory and track the status of orders throughout the production cycle.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and operational standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with other departments to plan for upcoming orders and ensure timely availability of resources.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in a production or operations management role, preferably in furniture, logistics, or manufacturing.
Strong understanding of the furniture rental industry and the production process for rental items.
Experience overseeing packing, quality control, and loading processes.
