Position Summary: We are seeking a smart, highly motivated, and skilled “hands-on” individual willing to take “ownership” and ultimately take a lead role in the manufacturing and assembly of architectural specialty glass supplied to recognized projects throughout N. America.

The position requires the individual to:

Understand glass and all its permutations (we will teach)

Operate and maintain advanced machinery (we will teach)

Learn and perform glass quality checks

Be a team player

Understand and meet production targets while ensuring excellent product quality.

Minimum 2 years production experience

Have excellent references

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production:

Operate machines and equipment to assist in the production process.

Assemble and package products according to specifications.

Handle materials, tools, and equipment as necessary for production tasks.

2. Quality Control:

Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Report any defects or issues to the supervisor for correction.

Ensure products are correctly labeled and packaged.

3. Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate protective equipment, and ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area thereby prevent accidents and improving efficiency.

4. Maintenance and Equipment Care:

Provide routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.

Perform minor repairs or troubleshooting of equipment as needed.

5. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.

Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and address any production issues.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

Record production data such as quantities, materials used, and time spent.

Report issues or delays in production processes to management.

7. Other Duties:

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager to ensure the smooth operation of the production line.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certifications).

Previous experience in glass production environment is preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a productive team environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Basic knowledge of machinery and production processes is a requirement plus.

Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for long periods.

Repetitive motion, including lifting, bending, and handling materials.

Ability to lift and move heavy glass (typically 25-50 lbs). (We will teach)

Work Environment:

Clean, organized, industrious production hall

Exposure to machinery, tools, and glass (all appropriate safety measures provided).

Additional Information:

Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production deadlines.

Part-time positions may be available.
