Our engineering firm needs someone to operate the sheet metal machines used to make housings for transformers.
We do not know how to work these machines ourselves so there will be nobody to train you
Applicants must have ALL of the following skills:
- Ability to read sheet metal drawings written in English
- Operating experience on brakes, shears, punch presses, and spot welders to close tolerances
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers
- Basic trigonometric math skills used for layout
$20 an hour for probationary period (approx 1 month). Raises follow. Benefits such as insurance and paid time off start after 3 months.
