Essex County company is looking for an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be dependable, well organized, have excellent written skills, as well as data entry experience in an accounting software. Candidate will be able to suggest ideas on how to make the position more efficient to improve productivity.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Point person for answering office phones. Must return phone calls and emails to ensure professional and timely responses.
- Management and data entry of Insurance documents into software.
- Sort incoming mail and packages and deliver to office staff in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and ordering of office supplies including coordination of vendor supported equipment.
- Filing and organization of company files as we work towards a paperless system.
- Accurate data entry and scanning of all pertinent documentation.
- Support internal staff with administrative requests.
- Deliver checks to the bank as well as other errands when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role - 5+ years
- Proficiency in utilizing computerized systems including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Positive attitude a must
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in Sage accounting software a plus
- Experience in Appfolio software a plus
- Valid Driver's license is a must
