We are establishing a new office in Millburn, NJ, and are looking for an energetic and proactive Office Administrator to play a key role in setting up our operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and actively participating in various aspects of office setup and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and assist with the physical setup of the office, including furniture assembly, equipment setup (computers, cameras, video systems), and workspace organization.
Coordinate orders and deliveries for office supplies, furniture, and other materials.
Participate in manual handling tasks like unpacking, organizing, and arranging office items.
Assist in measuring and organizing the layout of office spaces to ensure efficient use.
Manage registration and documentation processes for licenses, permits, and office-related compliance.
Act as a point of contact for vendors and service providers, ensuring timely installations and deliveries.
Maintain an organized inventory of office supplies and equipment.
Support team members with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office administration, project coordination, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to lift and move light to moderately heavy items as needed.
Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Basic technical knowledge of computer and video equipment setup is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Workdays: Mon-Fri, 09:00 am-6:00 pm (40 hrs. weekly, 1 hr. unpaid lunch/personal time)
