AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Deputy Project Manager to be based in New York, New York area working as part of the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to become a certified AECOM Project Manager within 1 year of your hire date.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Become part of a Transit Rail department that delivers complex projects for various transit rail clientsPerform project management responsibilities on transit rail projects in the NY Metro areaManage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgetsCoordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projectsRespond to client issued RFQ and RFPs, assist in marketing for Transit Rail pursuits  Effectively communicate expectations and requirements with both clients and team membersOversee development of project design schedules and project cost estimates
