We are seeking a summer student intern to conduct research on sustainability and support the development of tools for decarbonization . This role is based in Princeton, NJ.Responsibilities:
Support the development of decarbonization and sustainability-related models and tools.
Analyze modeling results, perform diagnostics and testing.
Process large datasets efficiently in Python.
Perform research on sustainability and circularity, summarize findings in slide decks or reports.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or other systems engineering fields, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution. Candidates who have earned a degree may work for a period not to exceed 12 months.
Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Familiarity with the decarbonization and electrification of commercial and industrial sites.
General knowledge on circularity, sustainability, or other related fields.
Advanced programming skills in Python or JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications:
Great teamwork skills and commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Additional experience in machine learning, software architecture, software testing is a plus.
