Description We are offering a contract to permanent position as a Medical Front Desk Specialist. This role is based in Princeton, New Jersey. As a Medical Front Desk Specialist, your primary tasks will include managing customer interactions, ensuring accurate record keeping, and contributing to the effective administration of the healthcare facility. Responsibilities: Accurately process patient check-ins and direct them accordingly Efficiently manage patient appointments and schedule changes Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Utilize eClinicalWorks for patient management and record keeping Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate resolution Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, effectively multi-tasking under pressure Uphold a high degree of discretion and professionalism in all interactions Contribute to the day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility.Requirements Proficiency in checking patients in and out of appointments Ability to direct patients to the appropriate department or staff member Experience in managing and scheduling patient appointments Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) for record-keeping purposes Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary High school diploma or equivalent, with further education in medical administration being a plus.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
