Payroll Analyst

Description Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst with experience is HRIS and reconciliation processes utilizing SAP. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, manage employee data within the HRIS system, and perform regular payroll reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy.Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll for employees in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.

Administer and maintain payroll information in the SAP HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

Reconcile payroll accounts on a regular basis to ensure all payments, deductions, and accruals are accurately reflected.

Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies by collaborating with HR, finance, and other departments as necessary.

Maintain payroll records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.

Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing payroll reports and documentation as needed.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure payroll processes are compliant with local, state, and federal laws.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll procedures and systems.

Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2s, tax filings, and audits.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a large organization.

Experience with SAP HRIS and strong knowledge of its payroll functions.

Strong understanding of payroll reconciliations, including taxes, deductions, and accruals.

Familiarity with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.

Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and other data analysis tools.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
