Cloud Project Manager

Work as an experienced cloud project manager to work with our engineering team to plan and manage multiple migration projects with various applications and ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities·         Assess, plan, implement and/or support infra/application migration solutions for our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs·         Conduct application architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors·         Design/customize and execute migration workflows that incorporate technical steps to migrate or build infrastructure and application components·         Come up with a cost reduction strategy and calculate/compare as-is vs. to-be TCO.·         Provide the project’s technical conscience, defining and driving the right solution to meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs·         Manage onshore and offshore resources, distribute responsibilities across team members, and report on the status of assigned scope of work to client stakeholders·         Adhere to the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals·         Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments, making decisions that are implemented by the team·         Meet/interact with our clients’ application owners and infrastructure support personnel to communicate migration activities comprising implementation plans, and review sequencing and timing details of application outages and post-migration testingSalary:  130K-165K/ year (may vary according to the experience)
