We are a Facilities Maintenance company based in New Jersey, is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, carpentry, floor tiling, and various other odd jobs. This role involves traveling between client locations across New Jersey and New York, performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to determine approximate costs and time required to complete repairs on painting, tile work, and carpentry tasks, among other trades
- Perform general maintenance and light repairs
- Conduct minor plumbing repairs (e.g., repairing/replacing faucets, unclogging toilets, etc.)
- Ensure timely completion of tasks across client sites
- Maintain high-quality standards in all repairs and installations
- Communicate with clients professionally and efficiently
- Travel between job sites in NYC and NJ as well as Westchester and Nassau counties
We are looking for someone with the ability to troubleshoot issues and problem solve while on-site in order to minimize client costs and get the job done right the first time. The role also requires project-based work with times, dates, and costs that are set by our clients which must be met. Along with strong communication skills, a professional personal appearance must be maintained at all times.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
