We need someone who is a proficient communicator, driven, enjoys the work, great interpersonal skills, ability to teach others effectively and someone who can create positive and effective relationships with our drivers and team. Essential Duties:
● Effective vehicle routing and the foresight to optimally control the flow of our fleet.
● Teaching, managing, training, and correcting a team of dispatchers.
● Develop positive relationships with our fleet and improve on their experience.
● Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls, be a team player.
● Communicate with drivers, and optimally direct their routes.
● Respond to grievances that come from our clients, staff, or drivers, and find lasting resolutions.
● This dispatcher position is meant to evolve over time, possibly into a managerial position, so your responsibilities will evolve and change.
Required Experience:
● High school Diploma or GED.
● Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
● Knowledge of computers, applications and experience using dispatching software is a must, 3 years or more.
● Typing and the ability to use basic Office programs, Excel, Word, Outlook.
● Organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
● The ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
● In depth understanding of creating routes/schedules for transportation.
● Prioritization skills and the capacity to problem solve and critically think throughout the day.
● You must be dependable, professional, and responsible.
● English Speaking (Spanish second language highly preferred)
Salary Details:
● Starting at $14.00 per hour
● Bi-weekly Pay
Schedule:
12pm- 8pm (8 hour shift)
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday In Office
Tuesday & Thursday Remote
Weekends as needed (Every other Saturday)
