Assists Warehouse Supervisor in all related activity required to operate plant warehouse and production areas.Responsibilities:Organizes and directs forklift operators on their shift to insure all warehouse activity related to the movement of materials into, out of, and within the plant production areas is in accordance of company guidelines and procedures.Reports all variances and discrepancies related to the movement of materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.Advises the Warehouse Supervisor of all personnel issues.Maintains harmony within the workforce.Insures an adequate supply of pallets, packaging supplies, and raw materials are available for production.Trains Forklift Operators on proper preservation of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.Operates all material handling equipment according to company guidelines and attends safety training annually.Records the movement of all material movement within the plant warehouse including raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods in accordance with the company policies and procedures.Unloads inbound raw materials and loads outbound finished goods in accordance with the company guidelines and procedures.Completes duties and follows all company guidelines in accordance with safety and quality assurance to comply with all government codes and regulations.Documents and reports all malfunctioning equipment to plant management.Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area including but not limited to sweeping floors and trash removal.Performs all other assigned duties related to plant warehouse operation.Works to maintain and improve the quality, legality, and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.A valid operating license for operating a forklift.Shift:3rd

You will pack products according to case count and quality specifications, following the guidance of the Production Manager/Supervisor. If you are looking for a rewarding role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and safety, this is the job for you!Responsibilities:Packs production units in cases, according to case pack specifications.Ensures product units being packed are to quality and product specifications, including color, weight, height, length, appearance, and core temperature.Inserts master case liner, baking instructions, and retail bags as needed in formed cases.Ensures that finished cases have been accurately coded and identified.Places finished cases on pallets properly and labels pallets correctly.Records packaging documents accurately and in a timely fashion.Prepares box cartons with accurate labels for packaged products, and/or ensures that box labeler is accurately labeling cases.Operates various packaging equipment, which may include but is not limited to metal detectors, product counters, case erector/bag inserters, conveyors, box labelers, box tapers, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and bag counters.Alerts Packaging Foreman, Packaging Lead or Production Supervisor when metal detector is kicking off product units, or when other machinery is not functioning properly.Maintains sufficient materials for the Packaging Department, including but not limited to pallets, box cartons, box carton tape, master case inserts, baking instructions, pallet tags, correct retail bags, and correct box labels.May assist in collating retail bags according to case counts based on the production schedules.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Ability to count to 60. Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to write numbers legibly.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions. Ability to distinguish and identify different products by reading labels.Oral Communication - Speaks clearly; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.Written Communication - Writes numbers legibly.Previous experience in an automated or semi-automated packing environment preferred.Shift: 3rd
