Description The Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist at Therapeutic Living Services, Inc. is tasked with managing all billing activities and accounts receivable functions. This includes checks and updates on clients' Medicaid eligibility, processing Medicaid and BHSD billing, ensuring successful transmission of claims, and preparation of billing reports. The role also entails handling accounts receivable, including posting payments, adjustments, and denials, and resolving discrepancies concerning claims. The position also has administrative duties, such as provider onboarding, contracting, and conducting checks for data accuracy. The specialist will also participate in Quality Improvement (QI) processes and meetings. Qualifications needed for the role include a high school diploma or GED, strong computer and organizational skills, excellent oral/interpersonal skills, and at least 2 years of experience in finance. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of CYMA, Medicaid billing, Kareo, and a degree in a business-related field. The role requires a professional bearing, ability to plan and set priorities, and strong communication skills. Other requirements include negative TB, alcohol, and drug screenings, as well as a successful criminal background check.
