Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Cost Accountant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role operates within the financial processes of the company, with a strong focus on costing, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR). The Cost Accountant will be instrumental in implementing financial strategies, resolving financial discrepancies, and generating comprehensive financial reports.Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Implement financial strategies and maintain accounting controls Review and reconcile financial discrepancies Prepare detailed financial reports Analyze and present cost data Handle invoice management Manage vendor payments Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions Utilize a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent numerical skills, and accuracy.Must know Sage 300Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. Ability to use Crystal Reports effectively. Familiarity with Epicor is a must. Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed. Understanding of all Accounting Functions. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Ability to conduct Auditing effectively. Familiarity with Budget Processes is required. Experience in handling Cash Activity is a must.
