Founded in 1999, East Central Ministries, Inc. (ECM) is a holistic, inclusive community development organization dedicated to fostering and supporting the community needs through program development driven by the community in Albuquerque’s International District. ECM continues to evolve its focus in response to the needs of the community, as we navigate the shift from 25 years of providing vital direct services to the process of coalition building around creative and affordable housing solutions in the International District. It is the intention of ECM to provide leadership together with other community-based organizations and individuals as we organize to create appropriate housing opportunities and services for our neighborhood.

Position Title: Office Administrator

Employment: 30-32 hours a week, exempt (with possibility of up to 40 hrs pending evaluation/approval)

Salary: $22/hour

Benefits, Holiday, PTO: Paid time off, 11 paid holidays, winter break. Discount to The Common Good thrift store.

Probationary Period: 90 days

Primary Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Director and Director of Programs and Operations in the fiscal management and in the administration of East Central Ministries and its various programs. Be the main point of contact at the office to the diverse community partners and members.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in administration and or similar roles.

Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish

Preference will be given to:

Experience working with diverse populations and the unhoused community.

Duties:

● Office Management:

○ Assist with admin for credit card and bank expenses and deposits, ensuring correct grant coding and entering into MIP, and updating accounts payable and accounts receivable

○ Keep current yearly licenses (City of Albuquerque, SAM, Attorney General, etc), Manage NTTC’s and program subscriptions

○ Monitor and manage databases, including DonorPerfect

■ manage donor receipts, communication to donors

■ manage fundraising campaigns

○ Mail collection and manage ECM admin email addresses

○ Main point of contact at office in person & manage main office phone and voicemail

○ Manage office supplies and assist if needed with other program supplies

○ Assist Director of Operations and Programs on creating operation & administrative policies and procedures

○ Assist in programs as requested/needed and other duties as requested by supervisor

● Marketing and Communications:

○ Manage the ECM website/social media

○ Development of ECM and program marketing, training and promotional materials

○ Lead in planning, writing, and distributing quarterly newsletter

○ Liaison with programs for updates and for marketing materials

○ Assist in volunteer recruitment/support
