Description Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our clients team in a temporary to hire role, bridging the gap between positions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance with 5-7 years of relevant experience. This role is essential to supporting our accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and quarter-end processes.Key Responsibilities:
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Assist with invoicing.
Serve as a gap role to support the accounting department during a transition between positions.
Complete journal entries for month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Provide overall assistance throughout various accounting functions as needed.

Proven experience in application and hands-on accounting tasks.
Strong accounting/finance background, with 5-7 years of experience in related roles.
Familiarity with month-end and quarter-end journal entry preparation and closing processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recommended but not required)
5-7 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
